Qualification in traditional martial arts has always been based on what an individual can clearly demonstrate, not on words or on someone’s opinion. The videos below feature demonstrations of skill by the Somerville instructors.

“After I graduated college, I decided, the most effective way to help others was through the martial arts practice that had helped me so much. I started this practice to strengthen my will and help my growth in being a more compassionate, driven, and focused person. I wanted to do this for myself so I could better help future clients as a counselor. It turned out that becoming an instructor was really what I wanted to do and how I wanted to help heal and empower others.
